Obstetrician and gynecologist, Elizabeth M. Bussewitz, MD, FACOG treats women’s health conditions and cares for women throughout pregnancy. Dr. Bussewitz is currently accepting new patients and has been providing medical care for women in the corridor since 2011.
Dr. Bussewitz went to college at the University of Iowa and has a degree in biomedical engineering. She then earned her medical degree from the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa. She completed her residency training at The Ohio State University in obstetrics and gynecology. She is currently board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Bussewitz can help women with a range of gynecological concerns. She also specializes in prenatal care, including routine and complex deliveries. She is also trained in minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
When Dr. Bussewitz isn’t busy in the office, she spends time with her husband Buzz and their 2 sons. She enjoys anything outdoors and going to live concerts of all genres. Dr. Bussewitz and her family spend as much time as possible cheering for the Hawkeyes.
