Brian Privett, M.D. joined the Iowa Eye Center in 2011 after completing his ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa. A native of Kennett, MO, he attended medical school at the University of Missouri. Dr. Privett is a past president of the Iowa Medical Society and the Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology. He currently serves on Iowa’s delegation for the American Medical Association. In his personal life, Dr. Privett enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is the Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 9 and serves on the Council Executive Board. He is also on the board of directors of Orchestra Iowa. He enjoys playing golf, singing, and playing piano.
