Dr. Joy L. Olson, MD, FACOG is an OB/GYN at OB-GYN Associates PC. Dr. Olson is passionate about caring women in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area and helping them achieve the best possible health.
Dr. Olson earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and then completed her residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Olson is proud to have served as an Army officer. Although she enjoyed the opportunity to experience other places during her time in the Army, Iowa holds a special place in her heart and she loves living here.
During her free time, Dr. Olson enjoys spending time with her family and pets, gardening, cooking, reading and volunteering. She’s also an avid fisherman and takes trips to Canada to take advantage of the fantastic fishing.
