October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For almost 40 years, October has been known as Breast Cancer Awareness month. It started in 1985 as a promotion of mammograms as the most effective tool to fight cancer.

At Surgery Center Cedar Rapids, we are honored to take part in the battle against breast cancer. Along with the ability to remove breast lesions, we are experts in the placement of Magseed to assist in the precise location of breast lesions for surgical removal. Check out our video below from Dr. Kerri Nowell to learn more about our services to assist you in your journey with breast cancer.

If you have any questions about our breast cancer services, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here for you, and ready to walk this path at your side.
